KaruAct is a social enterprise established in support of CommonAct’s mission to advance environmental sustainability and socio-economic development in Bangladesh.Through KaruAct, we aim to create a practical marketplace that connects artisan with customers, helping locally made products reach wider markets while creating better opportunities for the people who make them.

While the idea of KaruAct began as part of our broader work to support CommonAct’s mission, we began journey into reality through the support of Leadership in Action (LIA) Fund by the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC).We believe that creating meaningful economic opportunities can go hand in hand with more responsible and sustainable consumption. KaruAct works to make that connection practical by bringing together producers, their stories, and customers in one marketplace.KaruAct is part of CommonAct Enterprise, and its revenue is intended to contribute to the long-term financial sustainability of CommonAct while creating value for producers and customers.
